Foreq

Where your data lives

Last updated 5 October 2026.

The short version

  • Everything foreq stores is kept in Sydney, Australia, and the website's server code runs in Sydney too.
  • We keep only what the planning tools need: your email address, a name (an alias or initials are fine), your organisation's name as you enter it, and the plans and settings you create.
  • foreq is for curriculum planning — it does not need or ask for student information. Please don't put student names or details into plans.
  • AI use is charged to schools (billed by Australia College Pty Ltd; card statements show "AC: TEACHER TOOL"). No marketing emails, no advertising or tracking services.

What foreq keeps about you

  • Your login: email address, and your password in scrambled (hashed) form — never readable by us.
  • The name and display name you give (an alias is fine), and your organisation's name.
  • Your teaching profile if you fill it in: jurisdiction, subjects taught, and wording preferences.
  • Your courses, units, plans and the curriculum links you make, and files you keep or draw (kept documents, colouring pictures).
  • If you run a school on foreq: your staff list (colleagues' email addresses, roles and faculties) and when each was emailed an invitation.
  • A record of each AI job and its charge (what it was for, when, and by whom) for the school's bill.
  • A simple activity record (for example "unit created") used for security and support.

Sign-in is handled by the same Sydney sign-in service our team uses for its other teacher tools (listed at the bottom of this page), so the same email and password work on those too if you use them. Our administrators can look up whether an email address has a foreq account, to support people who use several of our tools.

Saving and sharing

Everything made in your school can be seen and copied by colleagues in the same school (the school bank); no one outside your school sees it. foreq.co also shares the published reporting standards and marking guides from official syllabuses (no personal data) with foreq1.com, our marking assistant.

Anything you export or copy out of foreq is then wherever you put it — for example your school's drive or the Department's SharePoint or OneDrive — and is governed by that organisation's rules.

Deleting your account

You can delete your foreq account yourself under My account (click your email address at the top of the page), confirming with your password. In a workspace of your own, everything in it is deleted — courses, units, plans, kept files and settings. In a school's workspace your courses stay with the school (they pass to a school administrator) and your own profile, settings and activity records are deleted.

Only foreq is deleted. Your login is shared with our other teacher tools, so it stays if you still use voceda or 4eq.co, and is deleted too if you don't. We keep the record of AI charges, which is your school's billing history.
